At Signpost, we recognise that getting good sleep can be an issue for carers. With that in mind we are offering a new workshop in collaboration with Healthy Minds (NHS Therapy Service) called Improving Sleep.
The workshop will be based upon cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) which is found to be effective for helping those with sleep difficulties. Within this workshop the following will be covered:
– Factual information on Anxiety and Sleep
– Sleep hygiene techniques
– How to gain awareness on the role thoughts play in maintaining sleep difficulties
– Sleep scheduling and Sleep Restriction
– Mindfulness and ACT principles to improve sleep

Please note there will be limited places at this workshop but we plan to hold the Improving Sleep workshop on a regular basis. So, if you miss out this time, there will be other opportunities to attend.
